About Cheryl
I am a Biomedical Science university student with a strong passion for Maths and Science. Having achieved AAA at A-Level in Biology, Chemistry and Maths, a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and 8-8-8 in Triple Science, I understand what it takes to succeed academically and apply effective exam technique.
I began tutoring during sixth form and discovered how rewarding it is to help students move from confusion to confidence. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into simple, manageable steps and seeing students grow in both ability and self-belief. My aim is not just to improve grades, but to make learning feel less overwhelming and more empowering.
With two years of tutoring experience, I am patient, adaptable and organised. I create a supportive and professional online environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. I am fully committed to helping each student reach their full potential.

My tutoring is student-centred and exam-focused. I begin by identifying gaps in understanding, then break concepts down into clear, step-by-step explanations using examples and active questioning. I focus on building confidence alongside subject knowledge and regularly use exam-style questions to strengthen technique and improve results.
I provide structured PowerPoints, worksheets, starter tasks and homework, with detailed feedback each lesson. I’m adaptable in my teaching style and tailor sessions to whatever a student is struggling with, whether that’s school content, homework or exam preparation.
Lessons are typically 2 hours (two 1-hour blocks with a 10-minute break).
I’m a Biomedical Science student at a top Russell group university with AAA at A-Level (Biology, Chemistry and Maths), a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and 8-8-8 in Triple Science, with two years of tutoring experience. I teach KS1–KS4 (Primary to GCSE) students of all abilities in a supportive online environment.
