About Mae
Hi! I am a university student studying for a nursing degree. I graduated high school recently which makes most of the concepts still fresh in my mind! I was always on the honour rolls and have finished every subject with a minimum of 85% during high school! Plus, I have tutored elementary and middle school students, as well as my high school friends, in the past.

To be honest, I teach based on how people understand and react to the concepts. I am very flexible in my teaching. I try to encourage the student to try and figure things out on their own before I explain it to them. However, some people dislike this and actually learns better when it is directly explained to them first.
That is why, I try to be flexible when tutoring because I understand that everyone has a different learning style. I think I'll be a good tutor for high school age and younger students as I can probably relate to them and make them feel like they're just studying with a sibling.
This can make them feel less pressured and less stressed as they won't feel like they are being taught by an adult.
