About Ryan
I scored 523 on the MCAT (99th percentile) and hold an Honors Bachelor of Health Sciences from Western University and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto.
As a non-traditional MCAT student, I had to relearn many science concepts from the ground up. Because of this, I understand the challenges many students face and focus on making complex topics easier to understand while teaching effective test-taking strategies.
My goal is to provide personalized, supportive tutoring that helps students build confidence and achieve their target MCAT score.

Every lesson is tailored to the student's goals, learning style, and target score. Whether a student wants to focus on content review, passage-based practice, question walkthroughs, or a combination of all three, each session is personalized to meet their needs. Lessons emphasize understanding why an answer is correct rather than simply memorizing facts, while building the critical reasoning and test-taking skills needed for success on the MCAT.
Students also receive guidance on study planning, reviewing practice exams, and improving timing and test-taking strategy. Lessons are designed for university students preparing for the MCAT, whether they're writing the exam for the first time or aiming to improve a previous score.
