About Vincent

I am a UofT student in the Mathematical and Physical Sciences Specialist program. I have three years experience tutoring, one of which was spent also running my high school's peer tutoring program. I have tutored from regular to honors to AP level classes. I find teaching very rewarding and fun, I love to joke around with my students and all I want is to see them succeed. I hope to someday go into teaching at the high school or collegiate level.
Fun facts about me are that I love animals of all kinds, I listen to way too much music, and I have two dogs at home in the USA named Beans and Bojangles.

About the lesson

A typical lesson plan with me would begin with a diagnostic assessment to see exactly where the student is finding issues. Then, I would go over the problems, explaining part by part both in theory and application. I can explain problems a variety of ways depending on what makes sense to the student. This includes visual/graphical, verbal, mathematical, or relational explanations. What sets me apart is the many ways I can explain a problem according to what makes sense to a student. I am exceptionally patient and really just want to see each student succeed.
These lessons are for middle or high school students struggling with math or science of any kind or level. Each lesson will focus on a maximum of two subjects/classes.
