About Anastasiia
I am an A+ math student at the University of Victoria and a former math and physics tutor at a night middle school. I have a deep passion for geometry and combinatorics, and I’ve won prizes in international math olympiads. As someone who loves math, I enjoy helping students build confidence and learn to enjoy the subject. My goal is to make math more approachable so that students not only understand it better but also start to appreciate the problem-solving process.

Russian
I teach math from middle school to first-year university courses. My lessons are practical and hands-on, starting with visual examples when possible and followed by guided practice. I focus on developing students' intuition first and honing practical problem-solving skills second. I hold lessons in either English or Russian. What sets me apart is my experience as both an international student and a teacher, which helps me explain concepts from different angles and offer diverse approaches to problem-solving.
