About Jessica

I grew up in a small town and always loved reading. Books were my way of entering a different place and traveling beyond the borders of my world.

I graduated from high school and new that I want to do something that I felt made a difference. So I became a teacher. Not a day has gone by that I regret that decision. It has truly become my passion and I love helping people learn.

About the lesson

As an English Language Arts tutor, my approach revolves around creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel empowered to explore, question, and grow. Here's how I share my knowledge:

Personalized Learning Plans: I begin by assessing each student's strengths, weaknesses, learning style, and academic goals. This allows me to tailor my tutoring sessions to meet their specific needs and preferences.

Interactive Teaching Methods: I incorporate a variety of interactive activities such as games, role-playing, and hands-on exercises.

Constructive Feedback: I provide constructive feedback on students' work, highlighting areas of improvement while also acknowledging their achievements. This helps build their confidence and motivates them to strive for excellence.
