About Erin
Rooted in the vibrant landscapes of Texas, within the bustling DFW area, I am a dedicated tutor with a rich tapestry of experiences shaped by living across the diverse terrains of the United States, from the desert expanses of New Mexico to the vast plains of Wyoming, and the serene lakes of Minnesota. This geographical diversity has imbued me with a unique perspective that I bring to my tutoring in ancient history, English, and math.
With 3 years of enriching English teaching experience, a year dedicated to making math understandable and relatable, and a deep-seated passion for history developed through an honors program, my educational journey is both broad and profound. I hold a TEFL certification and an associate's degree in liberal arts, equipping me to offer comprehensive and engaging learning experiences.
My approach to teaching is deeply influenced by my own creative pursuits. An avid crafter with a love for jewelry making, paper crafts, and more, I infuse creativity and innovation into my lessons, making learning a dynamic and enjoyable process. I believe in the power of personalized, one-on-one online sessions where each student's individual needs are met with patience, understanding, and a tailored teaching strategy.
Living in the heart of Texas, I draw upon the diverse cultures, histories, and landscapes I've encountered to enrich my teaching, offering students not just knowledge, but a broader understanding of the world. Whether you're looking to excel academically or explore new areas of interest, I'm here to guide you on a journey of discovery and growth, where every lesson is a step towards unlocking your potential.
