About James
As an Industrial Engineering senior attending the University of Southern California and Stuyvesant High School (graduate, I have not only had the chance to build a solid academic framework, but have also had the chance to learn the "tried and true" techniques for college and standardized testing success from my peers. I am excited to share the techniques and strategies I have used to achieve high marks on exams and with college results. Through the summer of 2023 to October2023 (when I start as an Associate at the Boston Consulting Group in New York City), I will be dedicated to helping you achieve your test prep and college goals.

I take an intuitive and exploratory approach towards AP, SAT, ACT preparation and college application advice. Rather than extensive drilling, I aim for a holistic and patient approach that will help bright students unlock their full potential when completing exams and writing essays. A typical lesson will consist of reviewing either a testing strategy or "thinking framework" to help the student come to their own conclusions. As a SAT/AP self-studier, I have gotten top marks (1580SAT, 5 on 8 AP exams) with my methods, and have successfully coached family and mentees with significant impact. My sessions are primarily targeted to high school students starting out their test prep or college application journey.
