About Glorious

I want you to know that when you work with me, you are working with a true professional who is committed to your success. I am reliable and dependable—you can count on me to be on time, prepared, and ready to help you learn every single session. Being organized and consistent is important to me because your time and education matter.
It’s very important that you trust me. When you trust your tutor, you can ask questions freely, take academic risks, and be honest about what you find challenging. That trust allows us to build real progress and meaningful success together.
I believe strongly in demonstrating confidence in my students. I will always recognize and praise your strengths and abilities, because you deserve to see what you’re capable of. At the same time, we will work thoughtfully and systematically on the areas that need growth—without judgment, only support. Growth happens when we build on strengths while improving weaknesses.
My legitimacy and dedication as a tutor are unmatched because I genuinely care about your progress. I don’t just want you to feel successful during our sessions—I want you to be successful in everything you do, inside and outside the classroom. My goal is to help you build the skills, confidence, and independence that will stay with you long after our tutoring sessions end.
Together, we will create success that is real, lasting, and earned.

About the lesson

Students should take a lesson with me because I provide structured, individualized instruction designed to help every learner feel confident and capable. As a graduate of University of Saint Joseph with a major in Special Education, I use an explicit and systematic approach to teaching. This means I clearly model skills, guide students step-by-step, and gradually release responsibility as they build independence.
I understand that large assignments can feel overwhelming, so I break (or “chunk”) bigger tasks into smaller, manageable sections. This helps students feel successful along the way and see that their goals are both realistic and obtainable.
I create a welcoming and friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking academic risks. I also take time to learn about each student’s prior knowledge and experiences with a topic so I can connect new material to what they already know.
To support focus and productivity, I prefer working in a quiet setting with minimal distractions, allowing students the time and space they need to concentrate. I incorporate visual strategies and hands-on activities whenever possible to keep lessons engaging and interactive.
At the end of each lesson, I conduct an informal assessment to check for understanding and ensure learning objectives were met. We also reflect on how the skills learned can be applied in other classes and preview what we will review or build on in the following week.
