USMLE Step 1 Exam tutoring/prep by a 4th Year Medical Student at UCC

About Lauren
I’m a fourth-year medical student at University College Cork and recently passed USMLE Step 1 while balancing medical school and clinical placements. I know how difficult it can be to figure out what to prioritize, which resources are actually worth using, and how to turn practice questions into meaningful improvement. I enjoy breaking down difficult concepts into simple, memorable explanations and tailoring sessions to each student’s strengths and weaknesses. My goal is to make Step 1 preparation feel structured, manageable and efficient, while helping students build the confidence and reasoning skills needed for exam day.

I offer personalized USMLE Step 1 tutoring for medical students at any stage of their preparation. Having recently passed Step 1 myself while completing medical school, I understand how overwhelming it can be to balance UWorld, NBMEs, First Aid, Pathoma and other resources. Lessons can focus on high-yield concepts, question interpretation, weak-topic review, study planning, NBME analysis and exam strategy. I tailor each session to your current level and goals, with an emphasis on understanding concepts rather than memorizing facts.
