About Kayla
I am completed my Bachelor of Science degree majoring in psychology and mathematics with a distinction WAM across third year, and am now on course to complete my honours in mathematics in 2021. I have been tutoring high school students maths for about two years and I have helped a lot of students to successfully finish high school with an ideal HSC outcome.

I firmly believe that passion, motivation, patience, flexibility and great communication skills are the most important things to being a good tutor. And I consider myself possessing these qualities.
I based my class on my student's need as well as my previous experience with students.
Before the first tutoring session I would usually talk to students' parents or previous tutor first about their personality, familiarity with the subject, interest and their study routine. I would normally draft a teaching plan, which includes tailoring the content of each session to the student's specific needs and their knowledge intake. After each session I would provide feedback to the students regarding where they did well and which areas they need more practice and understanding.
