About Julissa
Gospel music shaped my voice long before I ever picked up a guitar. That foundation continues to influence how I approach rhythm, phrasing, breathing control, and expressive singing in every lesson.
I have worked with 362 students, helping them develop stronger technique and greater confidence in their voices. Whether you want to overcome stage fear or explore resonance, I keep lessons practical, honest, and hands-on.
One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is watching students discover their own unique vibrato and chest voice. I enjoy creating a supportive space where you can experiment, grow, and develop a sound that feels genuinely yours.

Learning to sing means finding comfort in the tension between your head and chest voice. I find that most vocalists ignore the simple mechanics of their own anatomy. We build your foundation with specific warm up exercises and breathing control. I provide free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes so you can practice effectively between our meetings.
We will tackle harmony singing and genre styling for pop, classical, or musical theatre pieces. I track your vocal range extension carefully during each session to ensure steady improvement.
You will gain confidence through direct feedback on your tone and resonance. By focusing on the fundamentals, we allow your natural voice to emerge without artificial strain. I keep our time together focused and energetic to match the demands of live performance. My goal is to equip you with the tools to manage your own sound professionally.
