About Toby
I volunteered to be a teaching assistant in a GCSE Maths and GCSE Further Maths class.
I have also coached hockey for a range of ages and abilities. Starting with kids around 8-10 and last year I coached the University of Warwick Ladies' 4s.
I took my GCSEs and A-Levels relatively recently and know what is required to get the very top marks in modern papers.

Students learn best when they enjoy what they are learning. As difficult as it sounds, I feel I can help make people enjoy aspects of mathematics!
My lessons will be similar to Tutorials and Supervisions I've undertaken at University. This involves getting students to present their work to me (both visually and verbally) as presenting/teaching an area of mathematics is one of the best ways to ensure you have a firm grasp on that area.
I can also chat to people looking for advice on University as of course I went through the UCAS application process myself recently and also helped my brother who has just started Biochemistry at the University of York!
