About Yufei
Standard Mandarin Certified
I hold the Putonghua Proficiency Certificate (Level 2A), which guarantees my pronunciation is clear, accurate, and suitable for teaching Mandarin to learners of all levels.
Current Postgraduate at a UK University
I am studying for an MPA Finance at the University of Birmingham, which demonstrates my strong academic ability, discipline, and high-level English communication skills. IELTS-6.5
Proven Teaching Experience
As a former Class Academic Representative for four years, I supported fellow students with their learning needs. I also helped an absolute beginner reach basic daily conversation in Chinese within three months.
Globally Minded & Culturally Aware
I have travelled to nine countries, including France, Iceland, Norway, Spain, Italy, and Egypt. I love photography and enjoy bringing real-world cultural experiences into my lessons.
Clear, Logical & Patient
My background in national academic competitions (Mathematical Modelling, “Internet+” Competition) trained me to break down complex ideas into simple, logical steps. I am patient, organised, and committed to helping you progress at your own pace.
Professional & Reliable
I take my role as a tutor seriously. Lessons are well-prepared, on time, and tailored to your personal goals. You can expect a supportive, respectful, and encouraging learning environment.
