About Greta

Hi there! I’m a guitar tutor with 6 years of experience and a degree in Guitar Performance. My teaching blends creativity, structure, and personal expression. I focus on musical storytelling through chord theory, improvisation, and strong technique. I’ve helped students from early intermediate to expert levels build solid musicianship and find their unique voice. Whether we’re working on blues phrasing, lead guitar tone, or acoustic compositions, I guide players with care and clarity. My lessons include exercises for ear training, critical listening, and musical feel. I believe strong musicianship is about more than notes—it’s about how you play and connect. My approach encourages personal creativity and real-world application. Every class is tailored to your strengths and goals. Whether you're preparing for performance, exams, or songwriting, I help you grow with confidence and artistry. Let’s get you playing, exploring, and enjoying the guitar your way.

About the lesson

My guitar lessons are practical, expressive, and tailored to your goals. We begin by building chord fluency, rhythm control, and picking accuracy. I keep theory accessible by connecting it to real music and your favourite styles. For students interested in expressive lead guitar, we explore phrasing, scale patterns, and improvisation. I also support creative development through songwriting and personal composition projects. Fingerstyle techniques and soloing skills are introduced as students grow in confidence. For learners chasing blues tone or rock energy, we work through riffs, licks, and articulation techniques. Each session includes hands-on practice, clear explanation, and time to explore. I support players who are passionate about sound, groove, and musical identity. From expressive soloists to rhythm-driven performers, my lessons are designed to unlock potential. We’ll also include ear training, jam-along tracks, and goal-based challenges. You’ll leave each lesson feeling focused and musically energised.

With 6 years of teaching experience, I make chords, strumming, and music reading easy to grasp—perfect for learners who want steady progress through practical, hands-on lessons.
