About Jade

I am currently completing my last year of study in my undergraduate degree, where I am majoring in English Literature and Psychology. English has always been a subject I am passionate about and that I have excelled at. I aim to instill the same love of literature, poetry and creative writing in the students I tutor. This will enable a broader understanding of the subject that will enable them to achieve the excellent results they are cable of achieving.

About the lesson

My tutoring lessons involve an active engagement and interaction between the child and the text/ prom/ book they are analysing. I delve into the inner nuances of the poem or prose in order to broaden their understanding of it. For the creative writing aspect, I primarily work on expanding the experiences of their five senses and applying these observations into written expressions. My lessons will be primarily in English and are aimed at students between Grade 7 to matric.
