About Mxolisi
My name is Mxolisi and I am 18 years old. I am a current Wits University bachelor of education student. I come from a family of 7, and I'm the third child of four. My love and compassion towards Mathematics has made me to consider it as a major subject. I love solving numerical problems and helping others know how to solve them. Mathematics is part of our everyday lives, and I belive that the moment learners start to realize that, the more they might be considerate towards the subject. This is what I stand for, a society where learners fall in love with Mathematics and start to see it as a way of life, not just a 'difficult subject'.

My lessons will normally initiate by a brief(depending on the understanding of the learner) re-introduction of the lesson topic, where I make sure that the learner understands basic concepts before continuing with the topic. I am willing to teach the learner(s) about different methods/approach(es) of solving different mathematical problems. My lesson will not, in anyway, disregard the learners knowledge/input. I will make sure to allow the learner to work with problems by themselves to check if they understand. There will be no form of shaming/naming in the lessons, and I am willing to form a mutual relationship with all of my Learners. These are a few of the important qualities that a learner can expect from my lessons.
