About Yuvraj
I am a 17 year old sixth form student studying maths, further maths, physics and chemistry at A level. I am a very eager student with experience in teaching year 5 maths, which has given me flexible methods of teaching.
I have also completed an AQA certified teaching course which has given me understanding of different methods of teaching and the neuroscience behind it all.

I first try to establish gaps in learning, I can do this through assessing a test done in school or by setting a small test before the lesson. After identifying these gaps I will structure a lesson plan around these gaps in knowledge.
A lesson would usually consist of a small starter exercise, followed by recap of last lesson or going over the homework, lastly, I would do the main activity which could be breaking down questions or explaining new concepts or could be something entirely different if I believe that is the way that would be most useful for learning. Lastly, I would set a homework that consolidates the knowledge learnt in the lesson to ensure it isn’t just in your brains’ temporary storage, but embedded in the permanent storage.
