About Jemima
As someone who finished school only very recently I have a good understanding of how to support students in a way that is both approachable and constructive while maintaining high professional standards. I also appreciate that students will have other commitments and hobbies beyond academia and so I strive to ensure that my lessons are flexible and affordable. I have exemplary credentials in Maths obtaining a grade 9 (1-9 system) in GCSE Maths and a grade 9 in GCSE Further Maths while I have also obtained an A* in A-level Maths.

I offer highly personalised lessons for students from primary to GCSE level which aim to build a student's confidence while deepening their knowledge of key ideas and concepts by explaining mathematical methodology, discussing worked examples and then applying this knowledge to further Maths problems. I encourage students to take an active approach to lessons, question the concepts and problems which they are struggling to understand and seek guidance rather than answers as this is key for students to gain confidence and strengthen their understanding. I typically offer hour-long lessons but this is flexible depending on the student's age and needs.

Jemima is a great mathematician and an even greater tutor. She is patient and very supportive. Moreover, her perspective from being a student allows her to understand the gaps in knowledge to others, allowing for her to better aid her tutee's. It would not be an overstatement to say she has immensely bettered my confidence and allowed myself to flourish academically.
