About Seb
I work with maths every day as I am currently working in finance. I understand the pressure students have and how much the importance of GCSEs are drilled into their heads by every teacher. I also understand that many teachers aren't able to adapt their model and explanations for certain students as they have a rigid, broad framework they have used for teaching many students at the same time for many years, often recycling the same power-points every year.

-Find where the chain of understanding is broken, had some terrible Maths teachers for GCSEs and many didn't last the full year. I was constantly simplifying the maths for fellow classmates around me to understand.
-Set past papers and new questions that are to be completed, however I understand students may be busy with other revision and actually have the understanding without fully completing the homework so if I test them on a specific maths concept and they understand it excellently without completing all the set work, I will acknowledge the understanding is thorough and not waste time going over aspects that don't need refining.
-Lessons are flexible. 1-2 hours, up to the schedule of the student. Primarily GCSE level tutoring, year 9 and onwards, like the students to have a good understanding already. Able to teach lower and higher maths.
