About Ben
My name is Ben and I am currently a year 11 student based in Melbourne, I love to play chess and Brawl Stars in my free time. The reason I want to be a tutor is because I genuinely like teaching. I often see in class teachers just repeating the same answers, but never explaining why that is the answer. As a tutor, I don't want for my student to just memorize formulas or answers, I want them to understand why that's the answer or why that formula works.

My lessons are designed to be actively engaging while providing a patient and supportive space. I want to create an atmosphere where questions can be asked without any worries or fear of judgment.
My lessons are aimed towards general math students (year 7-10) and foundation math students.
As a current year 11, I do not have a formal teaching degree but I do have up-to-date, first-hand experience with the current curriculum.
I am available online from 5pm onwards on weekdays and am free on Saturday from 12pm -6pm.
