Missy Carpenter is an a wonderful tutor. She got our daughter through elementary school math using creative strategies and the kinds of tools that are easy to remember for equations and formulas. She also provided excellent study skills recommendations and helped my daughter develop notetaking and organization habits. Missy is also fun and funny. I would often hear my daughter talking with MIssy and laughing. She made learning a subject that brought stress to my daughter a lot of fun. My daughter was much more relaxed and able to learn because of Missy's style. The last thing they worked on was essay writing. MIssy brought expertise to the subject and my daughter was able to decide what information she wanted to include and how she wanted to say it. Missy provided guidance and was able to draw the writer out of my daughter whose essay sounded like herself, not her tutor, not somebody else. On a personal note, I as a person, parent, working individual have so much respect for MIssy. She gives so much to her students. She understands all types of thinkers and can work with neurotypical and neurodivergent students. MIssy is a wonderful tutor and even more wonderful human.

I can't speak highly enough of Melissa as a tutor for my son. Over the years, she has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure his academic success. Her ability to tailor lessons to his individual needs and her unwavering support have truly been invaluable. I wholeheartedly recommend Melissa to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and caring tutor.
