About Twyla
Teaching school level math started as a simple necessity but quickly became a career spent grounding students in the fundamentals. Most people assume that complex calculus is the ultimate hurdle when in reality the real roadblocks occur during pre-algebra. My 13 years in the classroom and in private sessions have shown that early intervention is the only way to ensure future success in subjects like statistics, probability, and linear algebra.
Stanford University provided the mathematical rigor, but my time working with middle schoolers provided the pedagogical patience required for algebra and mensuration. Problem solving strategies become second nature once the core logic is solidified. I focus on exam preparation by stripping away the anxiety surrounding tough curriculum topics.
