About Lily
Students preparing for high-stakes exams are my primary focus. I provide direct support for those tackling complex physics topics.
My work involves practical and lab work, thermodynamics, derivations and formulas, and conceptual learning. I assist with homework help, kinematics, waves and oscillations, electricity and magnetism, and units and measurements.
Having taught 238 students, I know where the common pitfalls lie. I use my engineering background to simplify the maths so the physics makes sense. My teaching is built on a foundation of 6 years of experience. I enjoy seeing the moment a difficult concept finally becomes clear.

Initial meetings focus on identifying your current knowledge gaps. We run through mock tests with error analysis before exams to sharpen your performance. My MEng Engineering degree from Imperial College London allows me to bridge the gap between abstract theory and the practical applications of physics. Drawing on 6 years of experience, I provide clarity on kinematics, waves, and electricity through logical derivations and clear explanations of units and measurements.
I ensure that every formula we discuss is linked back to its underlying physical intuition so that you understand the mechanics rather than just memorising equations. You will find that our sessions are designed to build your confidence through systematic problem solving and careful observation of your specific mistakes.
