About Francisco
Geometry, algebra, mensuration, coordinate geometry, problem-solving strategies, arithmetic and number sense, mental math, and calculus form the foundation of my teaching. These topics are where I focus my energy, helping students gain CLARITY AND CONFIDENCE over 13 years of practice. It is genuinely rewarding to watch a student transition from total confusion to complete mastery of these complex mathematical concepts.
Since earning my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Massey University, I have helped many students navigate the NZ NCEA curriculum. My methodical approach is designed to make sense of the math rather than just memorizing formulas. Helping others find their own way through a challenging equation is the most enjoyable part of my day.

Honestly, the most effective tutoring happens when we prioritize logic over rote memorization. My philosophy centers on teaching core concepts first to ensure a stable base, then shifting focus toward past papers and specific exam techniques.
This rigorous 9.0 step process allows students to prepare for NCEA Levels 1 to 3 with predictable results.
