1) Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?
I cannot forget how excited I was when I first used a computer in 2006. I was the first in my friend's group to get a computer. Honestly, I only used the computer to play songs, paint and play a solitaire game. Then I installed some other games as well to play. The actual use of my computer came into existence when I started doing and writing C programs on it in 2010.
2) What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?
I am surprised by the evolution of smartphones. The pace at which they evolved. They are super powerful now capable of doing most of the work. The whole world might halt if we stop using smart phones. People can't even walk a few streets away without using a sat navigation. The built-in cameras in the technology used in them are great.
3) Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.
I am skilled in programming languages such as Python and SQL. I have experience in Data Science, Machine Learning and Software Engineering. The combination of these skills helps me to interact with a wide range of students.
4) Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?
Yes, they do inspire me through the work they do. The thing that I love about them is that they were never afraid to take risks and challenges in their early twenties. They stuck with their plans and revolutionised the whole world that we are currently living in. The amount of hard work and passion from all of these people is insane.
5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.
Some of my favourite School memories revolve around the time I spent hanging around with my friends. Going to school on a bicycle and then eating lunch together... Our world was without smartphones and was much simpler and we used to talk to each other. We used to play ACTUAL outdoor games which is a rare thing to watch now because most of the school kids are too busy with their smarthomes and video games playing inside the rooms.
6) What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?
I would say "Nothing is easy at first. Not even for a child to learn how to walk, how to talk, how to eat. But all of us learn and learning makes all things simple".
7) What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?
I love to read books, specifically poetry books. Other than this I like to spend time in my garden and sometimes in trekking as well.
8) What makes you a Superprof in IT?
My education and 8 years of work experience helped me to excel in Tutoring. I like to tutor people and help them with the knowledge that I have. It's a two-way process where I learn a lot from them. The students are very happy with my way of teaching and explaining the concepts simply.
