About Christopher
I am passionate about working with all kinds of learners. I love seeing a child’s eyes light up when they master a new concept. I'm skilled at tailoring my teaching to different learning styles and needs.
I excel at building meaningful connections with students from diverse racial, cultural, and economic backgrounds. I value the cultural assets, knowledge, and lived experiences that each child brings to tutoring sessions. I also make learning meaningful by connecting it to students’ lives.
I am tech-savvy. I may not be the head of IT, but technology is My friend. I can quickly find workarounds when faced with glitches and am not daunted by simultaneously navigating Zoom, our learning platform, and multiple students with different learning needs.
I hope this proves that I'm a great tutor.

In my lessons, I will be able to help you understand what your doing and why it's important to learn it. Education is a passion and I'm here t help you find that passion. I'll be here every step of the way and won't hesitate to congratulate you on what you have learned.
I do and don't do homework it's kind of up to you and depends on the lessons I'm teaching.
For each lesson, we will start with an introduction I will tell you what lesson I will be teaching and a quick understanding of what it is and why it exists/how it came to be. Then we will do practice as I'll give an example and then teach you how to solve making it as simple and effective as possible. After will be independence, as in I will give you a couple of questions and you have to solve them but I will still be here to help and correct you. Finally, you will be tested.
If it takes you longer to understand it's okay, no one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes, trust me that I will always be there to help you along the way.
