About Samia
I have been teaching since September 2014 and I have had experience with the education sector prior to becoming a teacher. This profession requires continual hard work and determination to get the best out of the students and myself. I have undertaken coaching cycles with other members of my department, where observing and giving feedback helps to build and learn techniques for best practice. Currently I am a Deputy in science (KS4 Coordinator) where I am in charge of curriculum development for the AQA specification in my current school. I have previously been responsible for the development of the KS3 course for Year 7 and 8. This involves writing and amending the scheme of work, ensuring that there is a key focus on practical skills and liaising with teachers to ensure consistency within the department. It also involves holding afterschool meetings for the department to help facilitate teachers’ development by implementing strategies to help underachieving students whilst encouraging a positive and collaborative team that further develops teachers’ skills. All my experiences, both voluntary and paid, have played an important role towards developing my abilities to become an outstanding teacher. I feel that given my experience and focus I will be a valuable member of your teaching staff, as giving pupils the support that they need with their learning is at the heart of all that I do. I always strive to carry out my duties and responsibilities well and ensure the best outcome for my students. Samia is extremely passionate teaching and she's been an encouraging and caring with students to ensure that they reach their full potential.
During Samia’s time as a private tutor, she showed many different teaching learning styles to help develop my niece during her A-level Chemistry course.
Samia was a joy to work with because of her positive attitude and ability to never give up. Her commitment and empathy were also necessary and valued not just by myself, but also by my niece.
I am absolutely confident that Samia would be a great fit for any institute. Not only will she bring the kind of skills and experiences you’re looking for in an applicant, but she will also quickly become an asset and help both the institution and your students grow in any way she can.Samia is a great teacher, who has a natural skill of engaging people when helping them understand topics.
