About Lequita
As a child, I had a speech impediment and struggled with early reading. I know firsthand how frustrating it can feel to fall behind and not have the right support. But with patience, the right teaching, and encouragement, I found my confidence—and it changed my life. That’s why I’m so passionate about helping children build strong reading and phonics foundations. With the right support, every child can thrive. I want to be the person I once needed—someone who sees their potential and helps them unlock it.

Systematic synthetic phonics – teaches sounds in a clear sequence. 2. Daily repetition – builds fluency and confidence. 3. “Say, read, write” method – reinforces learning through speaking, reading, and writing. 4. Differentiated groups – ensures every child works at their level. 5. Engaging routines and resources – keep children motivated. 6. Focus on blending & segmenting – essential skills for decoding and spelling. The lessons are fast-paced but repetitive, which helps children retain sounds and apply them quickly. For EAL struggling learners, or new to English, this repetition helps cement what might otherwise be easily forgotten.
