About Marwa
I am a quadrilingual individual who enjoys languages. I love communicating with people and spend my best moments helping them by making use of my language skills. Apart from being a ZFA certified teacher, I am also a certified interpreter in Ontario. Going back in time, I was first introduced to the German language as a 5-year-old child when my family moved to Germany. I spent my Kindergarten years in Bretten, a small town in the beautiful Baden-Württemberg where I enjoyed many picnics and forest walks with my family. After we left Germany, I attended a prestigious German International school and graduated after obtaining the German high school diploma "Abitur". I moved to Canada after obtaining my Bachelor's in Engineering. Since 2010, I have worked as a German teacher in a variety of settings, which include: - German language teacher for elementary school students in a German language school. (Online and F2F) - German language teacher in a British international school. - Class teacher in a German International school. - Conversation class instructor for adults in a German language school. (Online and F2F) - Tutor preparing high school students for German language proficiency exams. (Online and F2F)

I use cooperative learning methods and include as many senses as possible in the learning experience. I tailor my lessons to best serve the goals of my student, and choose exciting topics and learning tools according to each age. For my online lessons, I professionally use the best online learning programs and smoothly maneuver between them to best serve the quality of the learning experience. I am very passionate about teaching and believe that students of all ages learn best when they are able to communicate easily with a friendly teacher in a cheerful and encouraging environment, which is always my NUMBER ONE in any lesson plan.

Marwa is the best teacher! She is so patient, kind and positive! With Marwa I was able to learn at a fast pace in a very rich learning environment. She always provided me with great feedback and support and and adapted to my individual needs. She is amazing at explaining any grammar topic or concept, working with you at your own pace with lots of different methods for individual learning styles.
