About Hernán

I started my story in music at the age of 10, learning only from the instrument in a self-taught way until I reached an age where I decided to make my hobbie my profession. I took classes in an academy (Diazort, Santiago de Chile) with Professor Victor Oyarce, to then move to Berlin, Germany and study the instrument in a professional way, I entered a professional institute called DrumTrainer Berlin to certify myself under the modules of Band-Coaching , Percussion for Drummers and Drums & Electronics. There besides receiving education I also started to give private classes to children and adults, both beginners and professionals who wanted to improve their technique.

About the lesson

I work under the books and teachings of Ted Reed, Wilcoxon, Udo Dahmen, Dante Agostini and more Styles: Jazz, Samba, Songo, Reggae, Cascara and Mambo, Mozambique, Afro Cuban 6/8, Blues, Shuffle, Motown, Old School R & B , Calypso / Soca, Bossa Nova, Swing 3/4, Brushes and more
-Rudiments and application to the set
-Techniques of Study: Creation of daily, weekly and monthly study plan
-Techniques of instrument tuning (By Udo Masshof)
-Drum Heroes and their iconic grooves: James Brown, Joseph Zigaboo, Jeff Porcaro, John "JR" Robinson, Steve Gadd, Bernard Purdie, James Gadson and more
