About Jasperina

Hi! My name is Jasperina, I am primarily a composer and songwriter but have spent the last twenty years playing all sorts of instruments with my main focuses being bassoon and voice. I am a graduate of Berklee College of Music where I played in many ensembles classically, as well as pop, rock, jazz and fusion ensembles on bassoon and voice. My biggest joy is collaborating and sharing knowledge through music. I want you to feel like this time is truly for you to explore, we will tailor your lessons and tutoring to your needs and wants. I absolutely love music of all genres and want to be an open space for you to learn on your own terms! In my free time I love movies, painting, hiking and trying new foods.

About the lesson

Together we will meet you where you are (beginner, intermediate, advanced) to help you grow as a musician through repertoire rehearsal, technique and general questions to create practice routine. I want this to be a positive and fun experience while also making an impact in your forward growth!

Jasperina is an incredibly talented musician and a wonderful person to learn from. She is knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and genuinely cares about helping others grow as musicians. From working with her as a fellow musician, I’ve seen how thoughtfully she approaches music and how naturally she communicates ideas and gives constructive feedback.
She creates a really welcoming and supportive learning environment while still being attentive to the details that help a musician improve. I would absolutely recommend Jasperina to anyone looking for a dedicated, knowledgeable, and encouraging teacher!
