About Kai

I am a medical student with a strong academic background who genuinely enjoys helping others learn. I aim to make lessons relaxed, supportive, and encouraging, while still being well structured and goal focused.

I am approachable and patient, and I make it a priority to explain concepts clearly and at a pace that suits each student. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as that is often where the best learning happens.

Outside of tutoring and study, I enjoy hiking, spending time outdoors, and staying active. I find that these interests help me stay balanced and positive, which I bring into my teaching and interactions with students.

About the lesson

I use a student-centered approach focused on understanding concepts rather than rote learning. Lessons begin by identifying gaps and goals, then progress through clear explanations, worked examples, and guided practice. I regularly check understanding and adjust the pace to suit the student.

Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, with flexibility for revision or exam preparation.

I have a strong academic background and experience tutoring primary and secondary school as well as early university students. My lessons are suitable for a wide range of learners, from those needing foundational support to high-achieving students aiming to refine their skills.

Kai was a great tutor who explained things clearly and made difficult topics much easier to understand. He was patient, approachable, and always well prepared for each lesson. I felt more confident in my studies after working with him.
