About Sirisha
Over the past 6 years I have been working as a Research Scientist and have had couple of years experience in teaching; not only to school students but also university level students. I am very patient and understand that every student is different; so I customise my lessons to suit individual students. I make sure to monitor their progress very closely and try my best to make each student achieve his or her potential goals.
For me science is a very fascinating subject and it is this passion towards applied science that made me to undertake a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology and Microbiology. Now, I have decided to try Affordable Coaching as a personal tutor on a small scale for KS3 (Science), GCSE (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and A level (Biology) students. This is because I am very sure that my experience as a Research Scientist and my qualifications will be exceptionally beneficial for all my students; not only to excel in science, but also will guide them in a proper direction for achieving their career goals.
I have excellent communication skills which were greatly strengthened as I was challenged to understand and respond to the questions arose during my technical demonstrations and power point presentations at the meetings and seminars.
My target as a teacher is to provide my students with sound knowledge, confidence and good exam techniques. Together we can generate first-class revision notes and practice exam papers in order to help them succeed in their exams. I have always found that this combination is the key to succeed and improve in examinations.
