About Kelby
I have tutored through high school to help my fellow students struggling with statistics and algebra. My students saw an improvement in comprehension which resulted in higher test grades! In college I helped classmates through Calculus 1 by breaking down lessons to manageable portions. I find that in the classroom setting a lot of information is covered and some gets lost in the mix. I help fill in the blanks and share classroom tips to help retain more of the teacher's lessons.

My teaching method is to break down the problems and develop a repeatable order of operations. I am also sure to go back and fill in any holes the student may have in their math foundation. I approach every topic by first relating its practical application to real world industry then to show a step by step approach to solving. If students know how this can be used outside of the classroom, they can be more inspired to learn the subject. Math is a tool that can be used to accomplish amazing things.
