About Sofia

My name is Sofia, and I hold an MA in Politics and French from the University of Aberdeen. With a French mother, I grew up speaking French and have been immersed in the language and culture from an early age.

I have been teaching French since 2019, helping students of different abilities develop their skills and confidence. I have also worked as an English teacher on the Côte d’Azur, teaching English to native French speakers. This experience has given me valuable insight into the challenges of language learning from both perspectives.

I tailor my lessons to each student’s individual needs and goals, whether you are a beginner or looking to improve your conversational skills, grammar or fluency. My aim is to make learning French engaging, effective and enjoyable.

À bientôt !

About the lesson

Bonjour! Bienvenue à tous !
My classes are tailored to each student’s individual needs, proficiency level and objectives. As a fluent French speaker with experience teaching the language since 2019, I offer structured, personalised classes designed to develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

I adapt my teaching style and lesson content to suit each student’s individual goals, learning preferences and pace. Whether you wish to improve your conversational fluency, strengthen your grammar and vocabulary, or prepare for examinations, I aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where you feel comfortable developing your French skills and building confidence in the language.
