About Langford

Looking for serious, high-quality French lessons with real results and a tutor you can fully trust?

Personalized French lessons guided by experience, professionalism, and high academic standards.

I am a highly experienced French tutor with native-level proficiency and extensive teaching experience in France, including work in prestigious schools and language centers. This background allows me to provide structured, reliable instruction grounded in real academic practice.

Teaching, for me, is not merely the transfer of knowledge — it is first and foremost a profoundly pedagogical art. I come from a long European tradition where education has been honored for generations as a calling of integrity, refinement, and responsibility.

While I possess an excellent command of French language and structure, I believe that true progress is achieved through pedagogy: understanding the student’s mind, psychology, goals, and individual relationship with the material.

In my work, 99% is the human-centered educational method — and only 1% is virtuosity in the subject itself. I teach by listening deeply, adapting intelligently, and aligning fully with each learner’s needs, so that confidence, trust, and long-term academic success emerge naturally.

My students often choose to stay with me for years, because they feel genuinely supported, understood, and guided with precision and care.

I work with students of all ages, from school learners to adults, and adapt each lesson to the student’s level, objectives, and pace. Parents value my professionalism, clarity, and consistency, while students appreciate the calm and supportive environment that helps them progress with confidence.

My lessons focus on strong foundations, clear explanations, and steady improvement. I do not rely on shortcuts; instead, I guide students through a well-structured learning process that supports long-term language development and academic success.

As an educator, I approach teaching with the standards of a private tutor: careful preparation, respect, and genuine commitment to each learner’s progress. This is particularly well suited for families and individuals seeking high-quality French instruction, stability, and meaningful results over time.

Finally Speak Real French — Taught by a Native-Level Tutor with Years of Teaching Experience in France

Have you studied French but still hesitate to speak? I am a native-level French tutor with many years of teaching experience in prestigious schools and language centres in France. My lessons focus on real communication, clear structure, and confidence, helping you understand, speak, and think in French naturally from the very first lesson.

My Teaching Approach & Methodology

My teaching is built on one clear principle: language must be lived, not memorised.
As a native-level French speaker who has taught and worked in prestigious educational centres and schools in France, I bring authentic language, real cultural insight, and academic rigour into every lesson.

I combine:

Communicative and immersive methods (you start speaking from the very first lesson)

Structured grammar explained clearly and logically

Context-based learning (real situations, real vocabulary, real confidence)

Adaptation to each learner’s pace, personality, and goals

Students don’t just “learn French” — they understand it, feel it, and use it naturally.

What a Typical Lesson Looks Like

Each lesson is carefully structured yet flexible:

Warm-up & conversation
Gentle guided speaking to activate vocabulary and build confidence.

Targeted learning focus
Grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or exam preparation — always explained simply and clearly, with practical examples.

Active practice
Dialogues, role-play, listening, reading, or writing — depending on your goals.

Correction & refinement
I correct mistakes constructively, helping you sound more natural and precise.

Personalised follow-up
Clear feedback and optional exercises adapted specifically to you.

Every lesson is designed to be engaging, motivating, and efficient.

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor

Native-level French with real academic and professional experience in France

Teaching experience in prestigious schools and language centres

Deep understanding of French mentality, culture, and real usage

Ability to explain complex grammar clearly, calmly, and accessibly

High standards combined with encouragement and patience

Lessons that are both intellectually solid and enjoyable

I bridge the gap between school French and real French.

Who My Lessons Are For

My lessons are ideal for:

Beginners who want a strong, confident foundation

Students (middle school, high school, university)

Exam preparation (school exams, DELF/DALF, oral exams)

Adults and professionals learning French for work or relocation

Advanced learners who want to refine fluency, pronunciation, and style

Learners who feel blocked and want to finally start speaking with confidence

Lessons are adapted to your level, age, objectives, and learning style.

Final Note

Learning French should feel clear, motivating, and empowering.
My goal is not only to teach you the language, but to help you think, express yourself, and feel confident in French — whether for school, work, exams, or personal enrichment.

If you are looking for authentic French, structured guidance, and real results, you are in the right place.

Lesson fees reflect the level of personalization, preparation, and professional experience involved.

The 30-minute introductory session is a consultation, not a lesson.
It is used to assess level, discuss goals, and explain my teaching approach.

Regular lessons are paid and follow a structured learning plan.

I primarily work with students interested in regular, long-term lessons.
Reduced rates may be discussed for ongoing weekly commitments.

Specialized, professional, or exam-focused lessons may be priced differently, depending on level and specific requirements.
