About Gladys
I lived in France for 16 years before moving to England so I speak both languages fluently (albeit with an accent). I have a history of teaching French at a primary school level (year 6) for 2 years and have worked as a translator since then, French to English and vice-versa, both written and spoken.

I gauge what level my student is speaking at during the first lesson, then discuss their aims and how I can help them achieve that. Then every lesson we focus on a key skill they want to learn e.g. pronunciation of a certain word or phrase, how to order at a restaurant, small talk, phrases to use in a professional/personal setting. The following lesson we will recap the previous week's content, making sure you have understood it fully and the cycle repeats. At the end of each month I will conduct a miniature test, to see what progress is being made and where I should improve my teaching to focus on any weaknesses.

Gladys is the best tutor I have ever known simply because she is effective at every level. My daughter was hacving trouble with her French GCSE's but Gladys was able to raise her confifence and grades within weeks of working with her. She then went on to help a friend's daughter with her A levels and her recommendation was as glowing as mine
Gladys is an incredible tutor, thanks to whom my confidence and eloquence in terms of spoken French have greatly increased. Her best quality is that no matter how long it takes, she sticks with one topic until it is fully understood. In summation an absolutley fantastic teacher.
