About Sangamithra

I've been teaching French for nearly ten years now. All of my students report doing better at school, and aren't scared of report cards. Adults who've taken my classes say that they're able to cope with simple/intermediate-level conversations when they travel.

About the lesson

I lead with a firm grounding in phonetics which enables my students to read and speak easily - important, especially in a language which has such unique pronunciation rules! I make sure to pay equal attention to all four skills - reading, writing, speaking and listening. Grammar is not something to be feared in my classes - there's always a way to remember things easily.

I teach both children and adults - for school, college, travel or fun. I specialize in training candidates for the DELF-DALF exams (A1-C1).

Sangamithra is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. That’s not even an overstatement. She works with you to make sure everything is working for you, at your pace, and she is jovial and fun to be around. She doesn’t make you feel bad for making mistakes or learning slowly (which I do), so I couldn’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for a tutor that is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and easy to work with.
