About Talia

I am a French-American Musical Theatre performer currently based in London. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Paris to a bilingual and bicultural family. I am therefore a native speaker of both French and English.

For the past few years I have been a private tutor in a variety of subjects : English, Maths, Sciences but also Singing and have loved every minute of it.

I always make sure my students leave with more than what they came with and with a sense of accomplishment.

J'espère vous voir bientôt!

About the lesson

I teach French primarily through discussion. Starting with the second lesson, I exclusively speak in French with my students and make them progressively more comfortable with hearing and speaking the language.

I also adapt my lessons to the needs and level of my students : Do they have exams or tests they need to prepare? Are there texts or shows they are trying to understand? Are they going to France for a time?
These are questions I ask my students so that I can craft the most effective and useful lesson for their needs.

Talia is by far the most patient and pedagogical teacher I've ever had the chance to work with. It was a pleasure to discover my voice with such a kind professor. She was always willing to reexplain or reformulate when I was a little lost, and never hesitated to encourage me to give my very best !
