About Floriane

Hi! My name's Floriane, I'm a native French speaker from Paris, based in Canada. I’ve taught French for several years to both children and adults, helping learners improve grammar, pronunciation, and conversation skills. With a professional background in bilingual communications, marketing, and translation, I teach French in a way that is engaging, practical, and adapted to your goals—whether for exams, work, or travel. Let’s start learning together!

About the lesson

My lessons are interactive, adaptable, and focused on real communication. I believe that learning a language is most effective when it feels natural and engaging, so I use conversation practice, pronunciation exercises, and cultural insights to bring French to life.

A typical lesson starts with a short warm-up (review or casual conversation), followed by a focus on vocabulary or grammar in context. We then practice through role-play, reading, or listening activities, and end with a recap and personalized tips to keep improving between sessions.

I try my best to adapt to each learner’s needs and interests — whether you want to feel more confident speaking, need help with homework, or aim to refine your pronunciation. I also like to integrate elements of French culture (film, art, music, everyday expressions) to make learning more enjoyable and authentic :)
