About Thea

Hi! :) I'm Thea, I'm friendly and enjoy helping kids build confidence and improve their skills. I emphasise patience and gentle pacing, with clear and structured lessons tailored to each student's level, so learning French feels achievable, fun and rewarding every step of the way.

About the lesson

Teaching Techniques & Methodology
I use a communicative, student-centred approach that focuses on real-life French. Lessons combine speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with a strong emphasis on conversation and practical usage. Grammar is explained clearly and simply, always in context. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, pace, and learning style, with regular revision and feedback to ensure steady progress.

Lesson Length
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, which allows enough time for structured learning and practice. Shorter (30–45 minute) or longer sessions can be arranged if needed.

Qualifications & Experience
I am a fluent French speaker with experience tutoring students at different levels. I have helped learners improve their conversational skills, grammar, pronunciation, and confidence in using French for school, travel, work, or exams. I am patient, encouraging, and experienced in adapting lessons to individual needs.

Who the Lessons Are For
Lessons are suitable for:

Beginners to advanced learners

Children, teenagers, and adults

Students studying French at school or university

Adults learning French for travel, work, or personal interest
