About Kevin

With over 10 years of experience in educational tutoring, I offer personalised and supportive guidance for all levels and ages (children, teenagers, and adults).

Main subjects (specialised courses for all ages and levels) :

French (grammar, written and oral expression, literature) – Currently training in FLE (French as a Foreign Language) to teach French to non-native speakers

English (conversation, exam preparation, refresher courses)

History-Geography (general knowledge, essay writing and document analysis)

Homework help & academic support :

I also tutor elementary and middle school students in maths, science, and other languages, with a particular focus on organisation, study skills, and building self-confidence.
I use innovative, personalised methods to help each student reach their full potential.

My background in social sciences has helped me develop numerous skills relevant to educational support:

Active and empathetic listening, informed by qualitative research methodologies

The ability to closely observe interactions and behaviours

Systemic analysis of academic challenges

Cultural mediation between institutional knowledge and the learner’s experience

Constant adaptation of educational strategies

Versatile, I draw on my diverse background, including my state-certified social worker diploma, my professional certificate in Leisure Activities for All Ages, my high school diploma in business, and even a sailor’s certificate from the French Navy. Self-taught in all subjects—and particularly in English and history-geography thanks to my travels—I love sharing my knowledge with patience and enthusiasm !

About the lesson

I tailor my approach to each student, as everyone learns differently. My aim ? To identify areas of difficulty, offer a learning method tailored to each individual, and make homework enjoyable.

The following four points are integral to my teaching method :

Complete adaptation to each student’s pace and needs

Specific support for young people with ADHD (patience, structured sessions, tailored teaching tools)

Teaching effective learning methods (planning, memorisation, understanding instructions, revision sheets)

Support in both academic and personal matters, to rekindle a love of learning

Target audience :

Pupils (primary, secondary, sixth form) – academic support and exam preparation

Adults – returning to education, vocational training, personal projects

Young people with special needs (ADHD, organisational difficulties, specific educational needs)

Available for online lessons only, I am committed to creating a safe and motivating environment where everyone can progress at their own pace.

Please feel free to contact me to discuss your goals and create a tailor-made learning plan !

Kevin went back to the basics with me, without judgment, at my own pace. Thanks to his way of simplifying and making connections, I finally understood fundamental concepts.

Kevin supported my son for two years of high school. His consistency, availability (even for quick questions), and skill in adapting his method during exam periods were decisive. The result: exam success and newfound autonomy. A huge thank you.
