About Sophia

My name is Sophia and I am a French and Spanish secondary school teacher based in Galway. I am passionate about languages and enjoy creating opportunities for students to actively engage in lessons and feel confident throughout their language-learning journey. I believe that creating a positive learning environment and using positive reinforcement are key to success when learning a language. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or would like any further information!

About the lesson

My approach to grinds is friendly, patient and supportive. I aim to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building their confidence. I adapt my lessons to each student's individual needs, whether they need help understanding a particular topic, improving their written work, preparing for exams or simply becoming more confident in the subject.
