About Coline

I am a teacher of French and Spanish in a secondary school in Notting Hill.
I have a double Masters degree in education and a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages, and I have my DBS check.

I teach students from Y7 to Y13 (A1 to C2), and I prepare them for the different exams (GCSE and A Level).
I am a young, dynamic and reliable teacher. I like to create fun lessons, have interesting conversations with my students, and I always make the most of the short time we have together.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed for each person and their needs.

I teach all kinds of people : children or adults, neurotypical or neurodivergent, etc. Whether you are a student in need to improve your level in French in order to prepare your GCSE or A Level, or an adult who wants to learn French for work or other purposes, I will teach you differently and adapt entirely to your own needs.
During the first lesson, we will talk about your final goal and how to reach it, and also about what you are expecting from those lessons.
The lessons will include speaking, writing, listening and reading.

I've studied French with Coline for a number of months now and she's helped me quickly accelerate my learning. Having started learning French on Duo Lingo, I'd picked up some basics but found it to be very passive learning. Studying with Coline has made that learning far more active. She's taught me a great deal about pronunciation which has given me the confidence to start use the language more readily when travelling in France.

I can't recommend Coline enough. She's very personable, knowledgeable, and makes learning French fun.
