About Lydia

Lead Teacher of Science I have a BSc and MSc in Science and a PGCE in secondary education with a specialism in Science. I teach - Biology, Chemistry and Physics I have taught in British schools since 2018 and have experience teaching to all exam boards as well as the iGCSE exams. I aim to help my students engage in their lessons in a variety of ways which will help them to understand and apply their science knowledge whilst having fun doing so!

About the lesson

I cater to all learning types and also have training and experience with home-learners, SEN students, age retained and high attainers. Typical length of a lesson is 60min with A-level. I tutor from my home office and use a range of programmes to enable learners to understand and contextualise key concepts in science. I have been a teacher at British schools since 2018 and have tutored throughout my time alongside my teaching career, with testimonials should you wish to see any. My pupils typically achieve at least one grade above their targets, with many achieving a lot higher. My lessons are targeted at those studying at GCSE and A-level however I can also cater to mature students and international students.

Lydia has tutored me throughout GCSE’s and into college for A-Levels. She is the most caring and understanding person who strives for her students to exceed and this care really shows throughout her tutoring ensuring you thoroughly understand topics with many online resources making her tutoring accessible for all students. If i walk into her lesson feeling down about not understanding something she always ensures i walk out feeling reassured and knowledgeable on the topic. Highly recommend :)
